President

Robert founded Diversified Asset Management, Inc., in 1996 to provide personalized, comprehensive wealth management services to self-employed professionals and small business owners throughout the country. His specialty is addressing the complex financial needs of self-employed professionals, corporate executives, and small- business owners. He has had the opportunity to share his insights as a frequent contributor to the BizWest and has appeared on Denver’s 9News. He is also a past president of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council.

Robert received an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and M.S. and B.S. degrees in meteorology from Pennsylvania State University. He holds professional designations as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®).  Prior to founding Diversified Asset Management, Inc., he worked with a local advisory firm in Boulder.

Like many of his clients, Robert takes full advantage of the environment in Boulder to pursue sports. He has completed over 250 races, including over 70 triathlons, six marathons, 21 half marathons, and more than 60 10Ks. The father of two boys, he has served as both a baseball coach and on the board of North Boulder Little League. Robert volunteered about 200 hours per year during his ten years as a coach. In the summer of 2011, he led the 9/10 All-Star Team to the district championship and a second-place finish in the state championships. In the summer of 2013, he was a coach for the 11/12 All-Star team which won the district and state championships and participated in the Little League World Series regional championships in Waco, TX. 

For the past ten years, Robert’s passion has been biking and swimming during the summers. In the winter, Robert enjoys skiing with his family and skate skiing. He extends his favorite season which is winter and skate skis between 30-50 times per year.
